I can’t deny that I love learning something new, from time to time. Learning is one of natural habit constructed deep inside my mind. And now, SEO, SEM and SERP. To bloggers, SEO play the important role to get more traffics. You must be happy to receive lots of visitors right? Once, I just know when we blog what we love most, and it will bring us visitors. But I totally wrong! To be able to receive much traffics, you must do a lot of hard work. Famous/Pro-level bloggers don’t just sitting around and publishing posts, and do nothing.
I’ve done simple steps after publishing my post lately (Before this, haram nak buat!, tak tahu tu ader la..). In case to share with you, here’s overall method of what you should do after publishing a post on your blog:
- Submit to Digg, Propeller and any Digg-like community sites. (Any articles in English)
- Submit to RSS directory. List of RSS directories.
- Ping your blog! I usually use Pingoat rather than Pingomatic. (Always caught with the message - Slow down cowboy! You’re pinging us too fast! )
- Submit to Social Bookmarking. List of social bookmarking sites.
- Submit relevant article for Article Submission. List of Article Submission sites.
- Blogger interactions (submit and receive comments)
So to all bloggers, do you know that even a simple blog comments can increase you with traffics? These were just simple explanation on how to make a little SEO jobs. I’m listing all of them, but actually lazy in submitting to many of them (haha!

If I’m not mistaken ping can be done automatically via your wordpress.
If you do submit an article to Digg like community sites, be prepared to experience Digg-Effect. But of course, it will only happen if your article is not of the community off interest type. Junk article will be buried within minutes. The bottom line is, don’t send all articles to digg, just good one.

there’s a few site that will automatically update to al social bookmarking - but i dah lupa. nanti lah, i’ll blog about it bila dah jumpa balik
You can also set feedburner to do the pinging for you whenever you update your blog.

yes, but there’s one which will not update all at once. they will automatically schedule it for you.
