I noticed it, few times I browse several blog with MyBlogLog Recent Readers Widget, the blog seems to heavily load. I thought my ISP connection was the main problem, but it wasn’t. My Rempit connection shows that I’m at 2.3Mbps of download and 112kbps of upload speed using Celcom 3GX (Location:Kota Bharu)

I tested out few blogs, noticed that most of sidebar parts got strucked for a while (although in just seconds). The site’s ping speed was normal, and header loads perfectly smooth. When it comes to MyBlogLog widget, the image of readers load heavily. Yet noticed that it was true, because of the widget.
MyBloglog Recent Readers is one of the most important widget. For us bloggers, it’s not only showing who recently having a visit, but also dug contents, which good for our search engine optimization (seo) Belajar SEO. What more, you’ll be able to receive more traffics from the widget. Lots of way visitors can reach you via MyBlogLog widget.
So what can I do? Do I need to remove the widget? Or do I need to change it’s location, such at footer, etc?
No, you don’t need to remove it. I meant to say as stated, but it’s one of your compulsory widget. Just set it up properly, with less images to be shown, less rows, etc, and it does the work. You don’t really need lots of images, the effects will still the same, as long as you remain the widget on.
Oh! One more thing, I would rather prefer the classic MyBlogLog widget than the new one. The old school may look ‘well-attached’ with themes, making it perfectly embed in the blog.
